Dusty,
security caseworker, handles our intake processing. He is the
liaison between Thistledew Camp's Wilderness Endeavors Program and
court services. He screens referrals and establishes the list for
each course. Dusty writes the youths' Discharge Summaries which are
sent to the Probation Officer or Social Worker after course
completion. Our intake day is the first day of the 21-day course. Due to county transportation difficulties, our staff provides transportation on intake day. Those counties south of the Twin Cities are asked to meet us half way.
